Description

Tangram puzzles are puzzles solved with geometric pieces. The Tangram puzzle originated in China hundreds of years ago. One story suggests that a Chinese man had created a beautiful ceramic tile and dropped it. The tile broke into 7 pieces and it has been said that he spent a very long time trying to put it back together.

 

The original shape of the Tangram was a square. It was cut into 5 triangles, 1 square and 1 parallelogram.

Each piece is called a Tan. Many puzzles are designed to resemble humans, animals, buildings, numbers, letters…

Rules:

* A Tangram puzzle contains all 7 pieces.

* Tans cannot be stacked or overlapped.

* Each tan must touch at least one other tan.

 

Remember that to place a tan correctly, you can:

* Turn it (rotate)

* Slide it

* Flip it

 

Packet with increasing difficulty. Please don’t skip and work on a strategy to help solve the puzzles.
