Description
GOAL: Using the triangle pieces, you have:
1. To write correct math operations : addition / subtraction
2. To fill in your pyramid on the board
PLAYER: – 1 orange triangle => answer / result
* 5 yellow triangles = numbers
* 1 pyramid tray
SET UP:
1. Place the orange triangle on top of the pyramid. All your math operations must equal this number !
2. Place the yellow triangle on the tray. You use them in your math operation in each row of the pyramid.
3. Pink/blue triangles are possible operations: add/sub
PLAYING THE GAME:
1. Turn the spinner: TRADE (swap one yellow triangle with another player) – DRAW (take a yellow triangle from pile) – NO NEW (no new piece to play with) numbers

Good for computation review, kids can choose what level they want to do. This game was a good one to do twice.

Can be challenging, and rules may need to be altered, but overall a fun game with a good amount of math involved. This can be played on two difficulty levels, the easier level is probably best for 2nd grade. Suggestions include: allow the students to work the problems in any order necessary to get the answer, no stealing or trading with other players, allow student to exchange tiles if they have drawn a particularly difficult set of numbers. All trading stealing can be done from a communal pile in the middle of the board. One volunteer per board is best.

Difficult to learn the rules, but once they get it, they love it! We played without trading or stealing, which I think worked well.
